Nerve Wracking Moment!

No matter how big your problems, they are smaller than God's power. Place your life and your problems in God's hands

What is the most nerve wracking moment that has ever happened to you? To some people my story might be shallow but for me its really nerve wracking and it almost killed, well not literally! Anyway, I was saying the most nerve wracking moment is when my final exams in two subjects both had the same schedule.. What I mean by that is they both had the same time and the same day, which really made me panicked when I was checking the final exams schedule! I began contemplating and asking myself " how the heck am I gonna do this?" but I realized that asking myself questions won't do me any good, and so I went back to school to see if they were really at the same time and the same day...Sadly they were!

I told my friend about my dilemma and she suggested to talk to my teacher about it, unluckily the only no. of the teacher that I have was the rude one, there's no way that she'll let me take the exam at an earlier time... and I was right, but she did let me take it up around 3;30  but the only problem is that I had another exams at that time. So without any other options, I went to class hoping and praying that the proctor would allow me to take my exams early and by God's grace he did allow me and I was able to finish all my exams on time.

God will never leave you nor forasake you!

Dealing with a Gg!

What makes you happy?

- Lots of things make me happy, but there are also lots of things that rob me of my joy! It's really hard to be joyful especially when there are people that are hard to love, but there's always a solution to that.

Just like some of you guys, there's a certain person I really hate! Seeing him/ her doing her pacute face disgust me and hearing him/ her brag about nonsense just ticks me off, have you encountered such things? Anyway,  I was just so tempted to say bad things in front of his/ her face, but I realized that I would be less of a person if I do that and my actions wouldn't glorify God. Besides, It's not worth the time and making other people feel bad will only break you and enslave you. So, instead of being brutal to a person that you hate, just choose the easy and the joyous life with life with these strategies:

1. Always think about the consequences- I know that he/ she is such a feeler (he/ she will probably assume that you like her even though you just met) and you're just so tempted to hurt his/ her feelings, but we just have to think twice about our actions because our words have a big impact on other people's lives, that's why we need to guard our toungue and  wouldn't want other people to hurt do we?

2. If you can't love him/ her, don't look at him/ her- I know that God commanded us to love other people, but i'm just still in the growing process and honestly, I don't want to love the Gg and so what I do is not to stare at him/ her and pretend the he/ she doesn't even exist! well, that's better than being brutal to him/ her right?

3. Always think about being a better person- sometimes, when people are so mean and arrogant we have the tendency to be meaner, but that's not how it's supposed to be... We have to think what is good for us! Don't commit the same mistakes as what others did.

4. Be a remote control- Don't let your emotions control you, you have to be the one controlling your emotions.

5. Erase the Gg on your mind instantly- The more you think about him/ her, the more you get angry and the happier she/ he gets.

6. Pray- Ask God to help you be less of a hater, who knows he might do a miracle! Besides, there is nothing to lose when you pray.

7. Always think about being loved by others- One reason why other people choose to be nice and friendly is because they want to gain friends and to be love by others. Let's face it! People wouldn't want to listen to a person who always talk about how good looking she/ he is right? But the real question is... is he/ she really good looking? haha just kidding aside and it's also half meant!

Peers might call me a coward for not doing the ways of the world, which is saying mean things to him/ her  but I don't regret my decision because I want to the right thing and doing the right thing is living a peaceful and happy life.

But I gotta admit I still think and laugh about his/ her attitude to my friends and I just did yesterday, So I hope that you'll pray for me that I may be more loving and that I'll be able to keep my mouth shut from saying bad things to him/ her.

Gg: 1.) ganda- gandahan- he/ she thinks that he/ she is Aphrodite and every human in the world will fall for her.

Ewwwww... Moment!

" Everything happens for a reason"

What is the most embarassing moment of your life? If you're gonna ask me, the most embarassing moment of my life so far is tripping and falling in the flood along taft!

Here's how the story goes: I was waiting in Umall ( mall near our university) to be fetch by my driver. Unfortunately, the battery of my phone was dead and the phone charger was in the dorm so, I went back to the dorm to charge my phone and comtact the driver. When I was on my way to the dorm, I tried to walk as fast as I can because it was raining hard and the lightning scared me, while I was walking, I tried to get to the side walk that was near a flooded area, I passed through the flooded area not knowing that it was deep and you already know what happened after that! Anyway, I thought swimming in the flood was already the worst thing that can ever happen to me, but I spoke to soon..What's worst than that is twisting my ankle and being mocked by a pedicab driver. He told me that " lahat ng maarteng tao nalulunod". I was really embarassed and I cried a lot while I was dripping wet going back to my dorm.

In the end I was able to charge my phone and contact my driver and when I was in the car, I began to contemplate, I  asked God why it happened to me.  He answered me through my parents by making me realize that I'm still lucky because I'm still alive and nothing really fatal happened to me and now, instead of being bitter about that incident, I now look at it as a blessing! It's a blessing and a proof that everything happens for a reason because It made me realize that a lot of people such as my parents, friends, cousin and my roomates care about me, they we're worried when they heard about it.

Lost and Found

"God is Bigger than any problem we face, stronger than any doubt we can imagine."

What is the luckiest moment of your life that made you feel so happy? If you're gonna ask me, It happened just the other when I was eating in Mcdo with Chjog, then I grabbed some of my things out of my bag to show him the accessories I've made. Sadly, he had to leave to attend his first class and so, we went our separate ways to attend our first class.

When I was already in school, I checked my bag and started to panic because I couldn't find my wallet/ card holder. I called up our family driver to go back to my house just to see if it was in my room. Unfortunately, it wasn't there then after a few minutes, I got a phone call from my friend, and told me that  my I.D. is posted at the office  of the student behavior. So, I rushed my way to school to see if it was really there and by God's grace, it was there and so is my wallet with my license and key inside, according to the guy at the OSB, it was the guard from Mcdo who found it . I really felt embarassed for being so careless but still thankful to my friend who called me up and to the guard who was kind enough to give my wallet back. God is truly amazing, He makes unexpected things happen and He is also so loving and kind to me, even though I don't deserve it.

Bad to Good

" Patience is not passive; on the contrary, it is active; it is concentrated strength."

If  you'll notice the writings in the picture, these are the things/ situations that irritate me the most and just the other day I found myself really tired and irritated because I had to go from SDA to CSB main to wait for the cash register's office to open so that I can pay my debt to the library for the overdue of the book I borrowed.

When the Cash register's office opened, people started to line up and because I was very slow, I was 3rd to the last inline, which kinda pissed me off. What even irritated me more is that after waiting for a very long line and finally reaching the 1st window, I still had to go to the 2nd window and wait for my name to be called for me to be able to settle my account. So while I was waiting for my name to be called, I started to grumble, suddenly a person approached and introduced himself to me. We started talking, I found out that he also goes to my church and I started becoming patient again and before I knew it, it was already my turn to settle my account. I can say that that day was a blessing even though I had to wait for an hour because despite of all my hardships, I was able to meet a friend who is also a born-again christian. I also realized that God can turn a bad day into something good.

Get Tough!

"Ask and it will be given to you , Seek and you will find, Knock and the door will be open to you!"

On the 3rd day of modeling class, we had a mini competition. We were divided into pairs! Each pairs have to execute the things we've learned in basic catwalking and the losing pair has to act like a frustrated model! Sounds fun right?

For me, It was really frustrating and pressuring! For the first time in my life, I got so intimidated and scared. If I were in America's Next Top Model I would probably be eliminated by now because others were really good, honestly speaking and I have the tendency to exaggerate my catwalk and I don't want that to be the cause of us to lose. And so, I had to do what I have to do! In my mind, I asked God for His help, strength and guidance and through His grace, He gave me focus, confidence and the right partner, who patiently corrected me and who I'm comfortable with in that activity. He also reminded me that I shouldn't be afraid, and because of Him I feel like I've improved a lot, I'm no longer scared of criticisms and guess what? my partner and I won and even got the highest score on that activity! God is truly amazing He makes losers winners.

" The Lord is my light and my salvation so why should I be afraid?"
